DIVISIONAL RAILWAY MANAGER /HOWRAH CONDUCTED SURPRISE NIGHT INSPECTION AT BARUIPARA STATION

Shri Sanjeev Kumar, Divisional Railway Manager/Howrah, conducted a surprise night inspection at Baruipara Station on the night of 9th and 10th September 2023. The primary objective of this surprise visit was to check the alertness of staff engaged in the operation of trains such as to ensure the highest standards of safety in the Howrah division.
During the surprise inspection, the Divisional Railway Manager assessed the working knowledge and safety consciousness of the on-duty Gatekeeper at Baruipara Station’s Level Crossing Gate No. 21, Station Master and assistant Station Master in the Panel Room, availability of safety equipment, safety apparatus, and also the minimum amenities required at workplaces. In order to gain a comprehensive understanding of operational dynamics, he actively engaged with the dedicated on-duty staff.
Subsequently, Shri Sanjeev Kumar extended his inspection at LC No. 12 Gate near Gobra Station, where he checked the working of available safety equipment, and essential documents, and interacted with the gatekeeper. He also stressed maintaining a clean and green environment around the workplace.
