Lost World Bengal and her Cultural Crown – Enjoy Durga Puja on the epitome of Bengal

Durga Puja is the Cultural nostalgia for Bengali’s ultimate carnival of life beyond “Red Road” and truly into the streets of Bengal.

By Suman Munshi

Everyone is happy celebrating the youthful joy of life with a touch of UNESCO WORLD Heritage at her best for 10 days in and around Kolkata or even in the villages of Bengal.

People make trips to the “BONEDI BARI” the Royals of Bengali Culture to see the well-preserved culture of Bengal. Truly a place to be during this puja to understand the lost world of Bengal’s very own UNESCO World Heritage and why we still love to recall Bengal’s bygone era.

Let’s congratulate the Bengali society for their spirit show around Durga Puja be it in Santosh Mitra Square’s “Ram Mandir” or Disney Land of Sree Bhumi fighting for the ultimate crown from the people.

Excellent, But where is that legendary cultured mass of Bengal?
Where is the Leadership like Netaji, Rashbehari Bose, Deshbandhu, Bidhan Chandra Roy or Shyama Prasad Mukherjee or Jyoti Basu?

Where is Satyajit, Mrinal, Hrithik, and Tapan Sinha?

Where are Pankaj Kumar Mallick, Hemanta, Manna, Shyamal, Sachindev Burman, Kishore Kumar, Sandhya, Kanika, Suchitra Mitra, and Debabrata Biswas legacy?

Where is Meghnad Saha, Satyendra Nath Bose, Jagadish Bose, Acharya Prafulla Chandra?

Where does the pupil go to study advanced science Raja Bazar Science College, Presidency, Jadavpur or IISC, IIT, or somewhere else in India?

Bengal has lost the crown of the intellectual capital of India. We are now migratory labors without any dignity in the rest of India Bengalis, are now a laughing stock BONG.

I am sorry, but if you can prove with points that the future of Bengal is shining like her past; I am ready to shave off my head and paint with lime and black.

We are not doing enough to carry the legendary legacy of cultured intellectual Bengal, for which I am proud and will ever remain a fan of that, not the present form of it.

This is not my Bengal and I do not own it by DNA in its present form. I truly appreciate every action of yours to showcase our heritage and culture to promote our past glory. You deserve a standing ovation for the same.

But respected Bengalis of the society have become a prodigal society. We now love to live on DOL and BHATA not enjoying earning a living with dignity anymore.

Most of the Swiggy ZOMOTTO, and Uber help are Bengali in Bangalore. Recall my days in Bangalore, Pune, Gurgaon, Hyderabad, Chennai, or in the US, UK, EU Australia, Elletes of those societies were fond of Bengali intellectuals and what we have established in the last 2 decades.

All people of Bengal who loves their past and want it to continue as the crown of cultured India must act now and throw away all lumpens in all authority position. Either governor steps down the activity of lumpen can not be our ruling medium.

Everyone enjoys Durga Puja and asks from the heart if these fellow idiots have told the truth or still we should still hide under the carpet.

“People deserve the government the way they are.”
When Joseph De Maistre said “In a democracy, the people end up with the government and leaders they deserve” Was he being sarcastic?

No, he wasn’t.

In a democracy, people elect those politicians who make promises that would benefit them personally the most, instead of choosing people who prioritize the interest of society as a whole.

The former, usually promises utopia, riches, and greatness. They have no plans other than scapegoating issues they have blown out of proportion beforehand.

99% of the electorate will be worse off under this politician’s rule, contrary to the promises they were given. 1% will be even better off than before.

So, Bengal think again long you have lost the title “What Bengal Thinks Today, India thinks tomorrow”.

What do you think is our merit has become corruption and freebies or still some self-respect intact?

Think inside and then ask your soul answer should come from inside not from outside.

Enjoy and sleep tight no need to worry what is the point when I am getting my food for free and why should I work for a dignified life?

No one Killed Bengal, we the Bengalis killed her and made a memorial of Eldorado under the name “Best Cultured Race from India”.

Remembering Nirod C. Chowdhury “Atmaghati Bangali” means suicidal Bengalis.
