REGULATION OF TRAINS DUE TO TRAFFIC & POWER BLOCK OVER HOWRAH DIVISION

Kolkata, October 27, 2023:

Periodic maintenance of tracks, signals & overhead electrification (OHE) is crucial to ensure the safe & efficient operation of railway system. Regular and systematic maintenance of this component helps prevent disruption and delays, ensuring trains run on schedule and extend the lifespan of railway infrastructure, contributing to the overall safety & reliability of train operation. Keeping in the mind the need for maintenance, integrated mega traffic & power block has been planned in Howrah-Barddhaman Chord, Howrah-Bandel-Naihati, Barddhaman-Howrah & Khana-Gumani section over Howrah Division on 29.10.2023 (Sunday). Consequently, the train regulations will be as follows:

  • Cancellation of Trains on 29.10.2023:
    From Howrah: 36825, 36827, 37363.
    From Barddhaman: 36842, 36844.
    From Bandel: 37749.
    From Katwa: 37748,03095.
    From Azimganj: 03096
    From Arambagh:37364

Rescheduling of Trains on 29.10.2023
(1) 12347 will be rescheduled from Howrah at 12.25 hrs. instead of 11.55 hrs.
(2) 37365 will be rescheduled from Howrah at 13.35 hrs. instead of 13.05 hrs.
(3)13188 will be rescheduled from Rampurhat at 14:35 hrs instead of 14:05 hrs.
(5)03590 will be rescheduled from Rampurhat at 14:45 hrs instead of 14:25 hrs.

  • Controlling of Trains on 29.10.2023:
    (1) 13015 Howrah – Jamalpur Kavi Guru Express will be controlled for 50 minutes enroute.
    (2) 03112 Godda – Sealdah MEMU Special will be controlled for 60 minutes enroute.

Moreover, 37361 Howrah – Arambagh local will be short terminated at Tarakeshwar (11:20) and short originated from Tarakeshwar(12:58) in the path of 37362 on 29.10.2023.

The inconvenience to be caused to the passengers is deeply regretted.
