• Divisional Railway Manager/ Howrah held a Press Conference on the upcoming Mega Traffic & Power block over the Rampurhat – Sahibganj Section.

Shri Sanjeev Kumar, Divisional Railway Manager/Howrah held a press conference today at the Conference Room of DRM Building/Howrah to address the upcoming 3rd Line commissioning work between Chatra and Murarai, scheduled from December 10, 2023. The DRM emphasized the significance of these infrastructure enhancements, highlighting the potential benefits in terms of increased operational flexibility, capacity, and reliability in railway services. During the press conference, the DRM provided detailed information about the planned pre non-interlocking / non-interlocking work on the Rampurhat – Sahibganj section, which will take place from December 10, 2023 (Sunday) to December 21, 2023 (Thursday).

Short origination/Short termination:
• 05407 Rampurhat – Gaya Express Special will be short originated from Sahibganj from 10.12.2023 to 22.12.2023.
• 05408 Jamalpur – Rampurhat Express Special will be short-terminated at Sahibganj from 09.12.2023 to 21.12.2023
• 03084 Rampurhat – Katwa Express Special will be short originated from Azimganj to Katwa from 10.12.2023 to 21.12.2023.
Rescheduling:
• 13417 UP Digha – Malda Town Express will be rescheduled from Digha at 03:30 hrs. on 15.12.2023 instead of 23:55 hrs. on 14.12.2023.
• 13425 DN Malda Town – Surat Express will be rescheduled from Malda Town at 14:25 hrs. instead of 12:25 on 16.12.2023
