SEALDAH DIVISION OBSERVED MAHAPARINIRVAN DIVAS

Eastern Railway’s Sealdah Division observed Mahaparinirvan Divas, the death anniversary of Bharat Ratna, Dr. B. R. Ambedkar, the architect of the Indian Constitution on 6.12.2023 at DRM’s Office Building/Sealdah.
Shri Deepak Nigam, Divisional Railway Manager, Sealdah, along with ADRM and Branch officers and staff of the Sealdah division paid floral tributes to the portrait of Dr. Ambedkar. Speaking on this occasion, Sri Nigam said that Dr. Ambedkar was a great scholar, jurist, and social reformer & fought against social discrimination and played a pivotal role in the drafting of the Indian constitution. His teachings are still relevant today and we should all strive to follow his ideals.
