Hon’ble Vice-President Shri Jagdeep Dhankhar to release a special postal cover to commemorate the 100th Anniversary of legal luminary late Justice Konda Madhav Reddy!

Shri Jagdeep Dhankhar, Hon’ble Vice-President of India, will be releasing a special postal cover to commemorate the 100th Anniversary of legal luminary late Justice Konda Madhav Reddy on December 27th, 2023, at 5.00 pm at AV College, Gagan Mahal, Hyderabad. Late Justice Konda Madhav Reddy served as the Chief Justice of Andhra Pradesh and Mumbai High Courts and Governor of Maharashtra.
The special postal cover being released in honour of Justice Konda Madhav Reddy, is a momentous occasion that captures the essence of his life and works and the values he stood for, says Konda Vishweshwar Reddy, Chairman, Justice Konda Madhav Reddy Foundation, Hyderabad.
The program will be presided over by Dr. (Smt.) Tamilisai Soundararajan, Hon’ble Governor of Telangana and Hon’ble Lt. Governor of Puducherry. Shri Alok Aradhe, Hon’ble Chief Justice, Telangana; Dr. Prathap C Reddy, Chairman, Apollo Hospitals Group; Justice B Sudershan Reddy, Former Judge, Supreme Court of India; Shri PVS Reddy, Chief Postmaster General, Telangana Circle; Prof. Ramchandra Reddy, Former professor of Osmania University; Shri VR Reddy; Justice MSK Jaiswal, several other sitting and retired judges, members from legal fraternity, MPs, MLAs and other dignitaries will grace the occasion.
About Justice Konda Madhava Reddy (JKMR) Foundation
JKMR Foundation, a nonprofit public charitable organization; was instituted to commemorate the services rendered by Justice Konda Madhava Reddy on 5th February 1998. The Foundation is rendering yeoman services to the deprived sections of the society in the Ranga Reddy District of Telangana. The JKMR Foundation has been organising programs and projects to benefit the poor and the deprived in the RR District of Telangana. The Foundation has been at the forefront in encouraging research work in medical, legal, agriculture, cultural activities, and other fields, in the service of the people. It is proactively working towards protecting the environment, communal harmony, national integration, upliftment of underprivileged women and handicapped persons, and other related activities. It’s been promoting youth activities including sports, especially India’s national game hockey. JKMR Foundation is conducting regular healthcare camps with a special thrust on the aged, physically challenged, children, and women. It has been organising memorial lecturers by eminent speakers on current issues.
Some of the initiatives of JKMR Foundation are Rural Youth Training Programs; Health Camps, General Duty Assistant (Health) Training programs, Clean and Green programs, Justice Konda Madhava Reddy Memorial Lectures; and Hockey and Cricket Tournaments.
