INDIAN ARMY TOWARDS NARI SASHAKTIKARAN
Indian Army Wives Welfare Association ( AWWA) undertakes many initiatives to encourage its members, the wives of the officers and soldiers under the theme of NARI SASHAKTIKARAN at all levels ie regional and national levels.
TriShakti Corps AWWA comprising of the families of Army wives in North Bengal and Sikkim has been undertaking many initiatives like running Vocational Training Centres, encouraging entrepreneurship, creating awareness of various govt schemes, etc. As part of the same, TriShakti Corps AWWA is putting up stalls at the Christmas Exhibition cum Sale event at the City Centre Mall, Siliguri on 23-24 Dec 23 from 10:30 AM to 8 PM. Such initiatives go a long way in encouraging army wives to take up entrepreneurship and be the invisible strength behind the Indian Army Soldiers who are guarding our borders.
