CNMS memorial conference Honors Mother Heeraben’s Legacy

New Delhi 31 Dec 2023: On the occasion of the First Death Anniversary of Mother Heeraben Modiji (Mother of PM Narendra Modi), a National Seminar titled “Tribute: Mother’s Mamta and Affectionate Shadow” was organized by the Center for Narendra Modi Studies (CNMS) in collaboration with SPWD & Amritkaal Neel Global Foundation at the India International Center, Delhi.

The Sanskrit verse “Janani Janmabhoomischa Swargadapi Gariyasi” – translating to “Mother and motherland both are greater than heaven” set the tone for the event. Dr Adish C Aggarwala, President of Supreme Court Bar Association, highlighted Mother Heeraben’s significance, emphasizing that her ideals and blessings played a pivotal role in shaping Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s dedication to serving the common and downtrodden people of his motherland.

Keynote Speaker Shri Shyam Jaju, BJP’s Ex National Vice President, lauded Mother Heeraben’s simplicity despite her son being a powerful world leader. He underscored her unassuming lifestyle, devoid of jewelry and significant property.

BJP Narela Ex MLA Neeldaman Khatri reflected on Mother Heeraben’s support for Prime Minister Modi, citing instances like demonetization and her proactive stance on receiving the COVID-19 vaccine.

A book titled “MAA,” featuring Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s blog in 13 languages, was released on the occasion. Professor Jasim Mohammad, Chairman of Centre for Narendra Modi Studies, emphasized Mother Heeraben’s resilience, simplicity, and deep respect for cleanliness and the welfare of the poor.

Guest of Honour BJP Delhi Mahila Morcha’s Vice President Yogita Singh praised Mother Heeraben’s wisdom, mentioning how she encouraged her son to keep wealth like honesty and do good to the poor.

Special guest Judge Rajendra Dhar acknowledged Mother Heeraben’s inspirational role in shaping Prime Minister Modi’s vision for a new India.

Prof. Jasim Mohammad highlighted Mother Heeraben’s life as a symbol of resilience, emphasizing her impact on shaping Prime Minister Modi’s selfless dedication to the country.

The Amritkaal Neel Global Foundation and Society for Promotion of Wasteland Development, honorary associates of CNMS, called for the inclusion of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s blog in school and college curricula.

The program’s success was attributed to the efforts of Jawaid Rahmani, Nikhat Parveen, Nadeem Warsi, Alisha Zainab, and Maryam Haroon.
