AUGMENTATION OF COACHES WITH TWO EXPRESS TRAINS

Kolkata, January 2, 2024:

Eastern Railway is always keen to serve passengers’ demand ensuring safety & feasibility. As a step forward towards fulfilment of the needs of the passengers keeping in view the winter season, Eastern Railway has decided to augment AC 3-tier coach & sleeper coach with the following express trains:-

• One AC 3-tier coach to be augmented with 12495/12496 Bikaner – Kolkata – Bikaner Pratap Express leaving Bikaner on & from 4.1.2024 to 25.1.2024 (on nominated days) and leaving Kolkata on & from 5.1.2024 to 26.1.2024 (on nominated days).

• One AC 3-tier coach & one Sleeper class coach to be augmented with 19608/19607 Madar Jn. – Kolkata Weekly Express leaving Madar Jn. from 1.1.2024 to 29.1.2024 (on nominated days) and leaving Kolkata station from 4.1.2024 to 1.2.2024 (on nominated days).
