CARDIO PULMONARY RESUSCITATION TRAINING PROGRAMME OF METRO STAFF ORGANIZED

Metro Railway authorities always take every possible measure to ensure a smooth journey for the commuters. On-duty Metro staff also remain alert and come forward to help Metro commuters who need special attention in emergency situations during the journey.
In order to provide hands-on training about Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation, a life support system, to Metro staff a special training programme was organised today i.e. on 17.01.2024 at Park Street Metro station by the Medical Department of Metro Railway in association with Narayana Multi Speciality Hospital. Doctors and other Medical staff imparted training on this basic life support system with the help of manikins and an Automated External Defibrillator Machine. More than forty staff from the Traffic and Security Departments of Metro Railway attended this training programme in which with the help of a PowerPoint presentation the details of this life support system were explained and discussed. It is expected that such a training programme will help frontline Metro staff to provide necessary life support to the commuters in case of any emergency.
Senior officers of Metro Railway were also present in this programme.
