ASSAM RIFLES ESTABLISHED A COMPUTER CELL AND COMMENCED BASIC COMPUTER TRAINING AT RANI GAIDINLIU SCHOOL, VILLAGE LUNGKAO IN MANIPUR
In an initiative under OP SADBHAVNA commemorating the birth anniversary of the Great Freedom Fighter Rani Gaidinliu, Assam Rifles established a computer cell as well commenced a basic three-month computer course for 45 students of village Lungkao from where Rani Gaidinliu belonged. This programme for the students in the village of Rani Gaidinliu was to celebrate her honourable legacy and to pay tribute to her great contribution to the nation.
The Computer cell has been established to encourage and empower students with basic computer literacy and thus aid the furtherance of education and development in the village. The basic course will nurture the younger generation to adopt and skill themselves towards a brighter future. This programme will also assist locals to align towards the Digital India initiatives.
The Assam Rifles has always been a critical cog of the wheel of development of North East and the same is evident from the immense participation and extreme love and gratitude expressed by the locals during the said event.
