EASTERN RAILWAY HONORS EXEMPLARY PERFORMANCE OF DIFFERENTLY ABLED EMPLOYEES

Today, Shri Milind K Deouskar, General Manager of Eastern Railway, took a momentous step in recognizing the exceptional contributions of 27 differently abled employees. The felicitation ceremony, held at the UDISHA Auditorium in Fairlie Place, Kolkata, celebrated the remarkable achievements of these individuals who have displayed outstanding performance in their respective roles despite facing physical challenges. Throughout their tenure, these employees have exemplified unwavering dedication, proficiency, and a positive attitude, serving as inspirations to their colleagues and enhancing the operational efficiency of Eastern Railway. Shri Sumit Sarkar, Additional General Manager, along with other Principal Heads of Departments, graced the occasion, further highlighting the significance of this event.
During the ceremony, Shri Milind K Deouskar, General Manager, presented the differently abled employees with wheelchairs, gifts, and mementos as tokens of appreciation. Additionally, a book titled “Facility in Railway Service for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities” was unveiled, emphasizing Eastern Railway’s commitment to inclusivity and accessibility.
In his address, Shri Milind K Deouskar, GM/ER encouraged the honored employees to continue their exemplary work and actively participate in further enhancing the Railway’s operations with their invaluable contributions.
