Birth Anniversary of Bharat Ratna Baba Saheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar celebrated at Sealdah Division
134th Birth Anniversary of Bharat Ratna Baba Saheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar has been celebrated by Sealdah Division of Eastern Railway to commemorate & honour the architect of the Indian Constitution, with a solemn ceremony held at the Divisional Railway Manager Office/ Sealdah today (14.04.2024).
The auspicious ceremony began with the garlanding of Dr. Ambedkar’s statue at the station premises, followed by the offering of floral tribute by Divisional officers at Rabindra Sabha Kaksha in DRM office. Shri Deepak Nigam, Divisional Railway Manager, Sealdah, delivered a speech highlighting Dr. Ambedkar’s life & contributions to the nation and stressed upon celebrating the spirit of inclusivity and empowerment. He emphasized Dr. Ambedkar’s unflinching devotion to ensuring social justice, equality & human rights and also reiterated his pivotal role in shaping Indian Constitution and democratic framework.
