REGULATION OF TRAIN SERVICES IN SEALDAH DIVISION IN VIEW OF THE CYCLONIC STORM REMAL

In view of the severe cyclonic storm Remal, Sealdah Division has taken host of arrangements to mitigate the repercussions. In order to maintain smooth train operation & ensure passenger safety, train movements will be regulated as a precautionary measure on 26.5.2024 (Sunday) & 27.5.2024 (Monday).

CANCELLATION OF EMU LOCALS ON 26.5.2024 (SUNDAY):

• Lakshmikantapur-Namkhana: 34914/34935
• Sealdah-Lakshmikantapur: 34754/34757
• Sealdah-Budge Budge: 34166/34165
• Sealdah-Canning: 34554/34557
• Sealdah-Diamond Harbour: 34860/34859.

CANCELLATION OF EMU LOCALS ON 27.5.2024 ( MONDAY):

• Lakshmikantapur-Namkhana: 34914/34935, 34916/34937, 34981
• Sealdah-Lakshmikantapur: 34712/34711, 34714/34713, 34716/34715, 34717
• Sealdah-Diamond Harbour: 34812/34811, 34814/34813, 34816/34815
• Sealdah-Canning: 34352/33511, 34354/34513
• Sealdah-Sonarpur: 34412/34411
• Sealdah-Budge Budge: 34112/34111, 34114/34113
• Sealdah-Baruipur: 34612/34611, 34114/34113
• Sealdah/Barasat-Hasnabad: 33511/33512, 33311/33514, 33313/33312

RESCHEDULE OF TRAINS ON 27.5.2024 ( MONDAY):

• 34515 and 34517 will depart from Canning at 6:00 AM and 6:20 AM respectively.
• 34791 will depart from Namkhana at 6:00 AM.
• 34817 and 34819 will depart from Diamond Harbour at 5:50 AM and 6:00 AM respectively.

In a nutshell, 48 EMU services will remain cancelled on Sunday & Monday and 5 services will be rescheduled on Monday. Further cancellation or rescheduling of trains will be planned as and when the situation arises, depending upon the severity of the cyclonic storm. Passengers are hereby requested to follow the announcements through the Public Address System at different stations. The inconvenience caused due to this regulation of trains is deeply regretted.
