KOLKATA METRO EXTENDS TOWARD A NEW ERA OF CONNECTIVITY

ADDITIONAL 9 PAIRS OF SERVICES RUN TODAY BETWEEN DAKSHINESWAR & DUMDUM STRETCH

Kolkata, 8th June, 2024

In response to the request of Eastern Railway to supplement the need of suburban passengers keeping in view the non-interlocking work at Sealdah station, Metro Railway has run 9 pairs of additional services ( 9 UP & 9 DN), over Dakshineswar-DumDum stretch of Blue Line today i.e. on 08.06.2024. These additional services were run between 08.09 hrs to 11.00 hrs and 17.27 hrs to 18.49 hrs.

Metro also ran 10 additional services (5 UP and 5 DN) for the same reason yesterday i.e. on 07.06.2024 on the Dakshineswar-DumDum stretch of Blue Line to manage the extra rush. These services were run between 11.14 hrs to 12.42 hrs and 17.42 hrs to 19.04 hrs.
