ADG, BSF EASTERN COMMAND, RAVI GANDHI’S VISIT TO BSF FRONTIER MIZORAM AND CACHAR
Sh Ravi Gandhi, Additional Director General, BSF (Eastern Command) Kolkata, during his three-day (July 25 to July 27, 2024) visit BSF Frontier Mizoram and Cachar (M&C), reviewed the prevailing security scenario in Manipur and also visited Nagaland. During the visit, ADG (EC), visited the BSF Coys deployed in Imphal East and Kakching districts of Manipur and Coys deployed in Satakha Nagaland to review the ops preparedness of the BSF troops. ADG (EC) applauded the hardwork and dedication of the BSF troops in discharging their duties in coordination with Police/other Security Forces in maintaining the Law & Order situation of Manipur & Nagaland.
ADG (EC) Kolkata called on Sh Rajiv Singh, IPS, DGP Manipur Police, and discussed the Operational issues to further improve/strengthen the security and instill confidence amongst the locals of Manipur. Sh Ravi Gandhi, ADG also met Sh Kuldeep Singh, Security Advisor to Govt of Manipur, IG CRPF, IG Assam Rifles, and other senior Government Officials of Manipur and discussed the various security-related issues.
ADG (EC) also visited the Coys deployed under 111 Bn BSF at Satakha (Nagaland), CI Post Chetheba, CI Post Chozuba, and BN Hqrs of 111 Bn BSF Satakha and 37 Bn Chedima. ADG EC interacted with BSF Cdrs & troops to boost up their Morale to work in tandem with other stakeholders. ADG (EC) concluded his visit with a positive impact on the zeal and enthusiasm of BSF troops deployed in Law & order duties in the states of Manipur and Nagaland.
