National Award for Excellence in Vocational Training and Entrepreneurship Development: A Celebration of Excellence
New Delhi, August 3, 2024:
The Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship is honoured to announce the upcoming National Award for Excellence in Vocational Training and Entrepreneurship Development, set to take place on 5th September 2024 at the Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi. This esteemed ceremony will be held in conjunction with Teachers’ Day and will feature the presentation of awards by the Honourable President of India, recognizing the exceptional contributions of educators in vocational training and entrepreneurship.
In preparation for the awards, the Ministry invites State Directorates, State Skill Development Missions (SSDMS), Regional Directorate of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (RDSDEs), and various entrepreneurship institutes to nominate trainers and master trainers who have shown exceptional skill and dedication in their respective domains.
The Award is the pinnacle of recognition for trainers who have made remarkable strides in the fields of vocational training and entrepreneurship. Organized by the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, this award acknowledges the profound impact that dedicated trainers have made in shaping the future of India’s workforce and fostering a culture of entrepreneurship.
The awards will be presented in five distinct categories, reflecting various facets of vocational training and entrepreneurship. To facilitate the nomination process, trainers are encouraged to submit their nominations online. The online application process will be available on the Rashtriya Puraskar Portal from August 1, 2024, to August 10, 2024.
Trainers interested in applying for the awards must complete the prescribed Performa available on the Rashtriya Puraskar Portal. Applications should be accompanied by the necessary documentation that supports the nominee’s qualifications and achievements in the field of vocational training and entrepreneurship.
This annual event not only serves as a platform to celebrate and recognize the exceptional work of trainers but also aims to set a benchmark for excellence in the field. By acknowledging the contributions of outstanding individuals, the Ministry seeks to inspire others to strive for excellence and continue contributing to the growth and development of India’s skilled workforce.
