One World Fusion is all set to  celebrate Independence Day by the Sangitanjaly Foundation, Pandit Vishwamohan Bhatt, Pandit Prodyut Mukherjee & Abhijeeth Bhattacharya 

Sangitanjaly Foundation under the baton of Abhijeeth Bhattacharya is all set to host a gala musical concert One World Fusion Season Eleven on 14 August at Rabindra Bharati, Hyderabad. Pandit Prodyut Mukherjee,  one of the Grammy jury members from India and the winner of the prestigious GiMA award would offer an ensemble of fusion music featuring the Grammy awardee Pandit Vishwamohan Bhatt, noted Bollywood singer Vinod Rathod, ace trumpeter Kishore Sodha, singer Ujjayinee and other noted musicians. The concert has been curated by Abhijeeth Bhattacharjee and Pandit Prodyut Mukherjee.

On the eve of Independence Day Pandit Prodyut Mukherjee and other distinguished musicians would offer an evening of Indian classical and Western melodies, every song would deal extended alaap in between the antaras, not following the original score. Pandit Vishwamohan Bhatt and Pandit Prodyut Mukherjee would set the first performance of the evening featuring Indian classical music, followed by Prodyut Mukherjee’s  Rhythm Sensation with Bollywood Unplugged and trumpet king Kishore Sodha, Ujjaini who would offer some of R.D.Burman’s evergreen melodies, finally Vinod Rathod and Chandni Mukherjee would come up with some of his own films hits from Bazigar, Deewana and so on. In the end, Vande Mataram composed by A.R.Rahman would be performed by Pandit Vishwamohan Bhatt, Pandit Prodyut Mukherjee, Vinod Rathod, Kishore Sodha, and all the artists, followed by the national anthem. Pandit Prodyut Mukherjee says, ” It’s a unique celebration of Independence Day through the music of the soul. Music doesn’t have any language and we would celebrate it with a high range of variety.” Abhijeeth Bhattacharya, Chairman, of Sangitanjaly Foundation, says, ” It’s an honour to host such an initiative featuring legends of Indian music.”
