GENERAL MANAGER INSPECTS NOAPARA TO JAI HIND METRO STATIONS OF YELLOW LINE
FIRST TROLLEY INSPECTION FROM DUMDUM CANTONMENT TO JAI HIND (AIRPORT) STATIONS DONE BY GENERAL MANAGER

Shri P. Uday Kumar Reddy, General Manager, Metro Railway has for the first time conducted a trolley inspection from Dumdum Cantonment to Jai Hind (Airport ) stretch of Yellow Line today i.e. 21.10.2024. He also inspected the stretch between Noapara to Dumdum Cantonment stretch of Yellow Line as well today. Shri Reddy made an extensive inspection of this stretch with senior officials of Metro Railway. Shri Reddy inspected Noapara to Dumdum Cantonment stations in a Metro and thereafter undertook trolley inspection to Jai Hind Metro station. For the first time such trolley inspection took place on Dumdum Cantonment to Jai Hind Metro stretch. In course of this inspection, he inspected the progress work of Jessore Road Metro station, especially outside portion of this station.
General Manager planted a sapling outside Jessore Road station. Smt. Ambika Jain, Principal Financial Advisor, Shri Asim Kumar Majumder, Principal Chief Electrical Engineer, Shri Anuj Mittal, Principal Chief Engineer, Shri Manish Jain, Principal Chief Safety Officer also planted saplings there.
During his inspection of Jai Hind Metro station, Shri Reddy specially focused on the platform, mezzanine floor, entry and exit gates and the subway connecting the airport. Apart from this, he also checked the emergency staircase and electrical room of this station.
After completing this inspection, General Manager also held a high-level meeting with the senior Metro officials at Jai Hind Metro station today.
Shri Reddy expressed his satisfaction seeing the overall progress of work of this stretch up to Jai Hind Metro station.
