GENERAL MANAGER INSPECTS VICTORIA STATION OF PURPLE LINE

Shri P. Uday Kumar Reddy, General Manager, Metro Railway inspected the under-construction Victoria station of Purple Line on 19.11.2024. During this inspection, senior officials of Metro Railway and Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) accompanied him.
Shri Reddy inspected the underground Victoria Metro station and instructed the concerned officials to expedite the work. Later, Shri Reddy also inspected the model room at Victoria station site.
General Manager also reviewed the progress of viaduct launching as well as station construction work of Beleghata to Salt Lake Sector V section of Orange Line which is expected to be inspected by Commissioner of Railway Safety(CRS) in March, 2025. GM instructed all to strictly adhere to the time schedule to finish this work. Later, Shri Reddy also inspected the viaduct work near Bagjola Canal, New Town Depot and reviewed the land acquisition work for construction of this depot.
