In a first, approximately 2.44 lakh oranges, valued at over Rs. 10 lakhs, have been successfully exported to the markets of Assam and Arunachal Pradesh, showcasing the untapped potential of the region’s agricultural produce.
This significant milestone marks the first export of locally grown oranges from the Siang Valley to the plains of the Brahmaputra, highlighting both the entrepreneurial spirit fostered by the Indian Army and the power of self-sustained economic growth in border villages.
