Visit of Dr Niten Chandra, IAS, Secretary to the Govt of India Ex-Serviceman welfare (MOD) to Directorate of Sainik Welfare Assam, Sainik Bhawan, Lachit Nagar, Guwahati.

Dr Niten Chandra, IAS, Secretary to the Govt of India Ex-Serviceman Welfare (MOD) accompanied by Maj Gen SBK Singh, Director General of Resettlement visited Directorate of Sainik Welfare Assam on 07 Feb 2025. He took stock of welfare, financial and infrastructure related issues being undertaken by the Directorate. He was briefed by Brig Polash Choudhury, Sena Medal (Retd), Director Sainik Welfare Assam on all the activities being undertaken by the Directorate including ECHS.
Dr Niten Chandra, IAS expressed his deep satisfaction on outstanding work being carried out by the Directorate towards Ex-Serviceman welfare in a proactive manner and urged to continue with the good work.
