Ghoramari, Assam | [02 Mar 25] – In a heartfelt tribute to the courage and sacrifices of our veterans, Gajraj Corps of the Indian Army organised an Ex-Servicemen Rally in Ghoramari, Assam. The event brought together over 3,800 veterans, Veer Naris, and their families, reaffirming the Army’s unwavering commitment to their welfare and well-being.
The rally aimed to address the needs of former servicemen and their families by providing free medical aid, prosthetics, and a tri-scooter for a disabled soldier. Additionally, more than 600 job and resettlement opportunities were facilitated, ensuring a seamless transition for veterans into civilian life. Special SPARSH and Aadhaar desks were set up to assist in resolving pension-related issues, ensuring ease of access to essential benefits.
