261ST ARMY MEDICAL CORPS DAY CELEBRATION AT BENGALURU

Army Medical Corps (AMC) came into being on 3 April 1943, unifying the Indian Medical Service, Indian Medical Department, and Indian Hospital Corps. As the backbone of military healthcare, AMC has upheld excellence in medical support, ensuring the well-being of soldiers in both peace and war.
To honour Army Medical Corps’ (AMC) remarkable legacy of medical excellence and unwavering service to the nation, 261st Army Medical Corps’ day will be observed on 4 April 25 at RSAOI Bengaluru. On this momentous occasion, AMC officers of Bengaluru area headed by Air Vice Marshal Renuka Kunte, Principal Medical Officer, Head Quarters Training Command, IAF will be hosting the AMC veterans in a grand event. Senior dignitaries and officials from both civil and military institutions will be gracing the event as esteemed guests. This special occasion will bring together AMC officers in Bengaluru to honor and commemorate the corps’ remarkable contributions in service to the nation. As the Army Medical Corps continues its journey of dedication and innovation in military healthcare, the celebration will serve as a tribute to its commitment to the motto ‘Sarve Santu Nirmaya’-‘Let all be free from disease’.
