
Heritage Institute of Technology hosted the largest 24-hour AI Hackathon ‘AIGNITE’ in Eastern India on 19th and 20th April, 2025, at the Heritage campus. The Hackathon was organized by INT. Technologies in association with Codebuddy.
More than 300 students and IT professionals from various Institutions and organizations across Eastern India had participated. The Hackathon focused on AI, which is rapidly transforming industries, bringing together the top talents, innovators, and industry leaders to solve real-time problems using Generative AI.
“There is a lot of talent among the youth and professionals that we need to capitalize on. This Hackathon gives them ample opportunities for the same. We are ready to help the winners to incubate enterprises based upon their innovative ideas,” said Mr. Abhishek Rungta, Founder, INT. Technologies. “We love to see the enthusiasm among the youth who have participated in this prestigious Hackathon,’ said Mr. Abhishek Gupta, Founder, Codebuddy. The final day of the event witnessed the presence of Mr. Santosh Panda, Founder, Explara, Mr. Debashis Sen, Former IAS, Mr. Vinay Pagaria, CTO, Stockedge, apart from Mr. Abhishek Rungta, Founder, INT. Technologies and Mr. Abhishek Gupta, Founder, Codebuddy, as the judges who did the evaluation of the projects made by the top teams selected for the final round. Around 7 teams were shortlisted for the final round. Team Techforge NEILT Patna were the winners. Team Prachar AI from Heritage Institute of Technology bagged the second position, and Team Unscripted Algorithms from Siliguri bagged the third position.

Mr. Vikram Swarup, Vice Chairman, Heritage Group of Institutions, and Mr. Sanjay Agarwal, Founder Trustee, Heritage Group of Institutions, were also present on the first day of the event, motivating the participants.
