CKK Eduveda and Fur Ball Story LaunchWorld’s First Ayurvedic Veterinary Course Series,

Empowering Pet Parents and Veterinarians Globally

New Delhi, October 13, 2025 : CKK Eduveda, founded by industry stalwart Dr. Chandra Kant Katiyar (Adviser & Former CEO – Healthcare, Emami Group), in collaboration with Fur Ball Story, India’s leading Ayurvedic veterinary healthcare brand, today unveiled the world’s first structured series of courses on Ayurveda for animals. The launch event, co-hosted by the Association of Manufacturers of Ayurvedic Medicines (AMAM), marks a global milestone in integrating scientifically backed Ayurvedic principles into modern veterinary care.

Emami Ltd., a strategic investor in Fur Ball Story since 2022 , supports this transformative initiative to advance holistic, standardized Ayurvedic education for the veterinary sector.

This course empowers pet parents to adopt a holistic approach to their companion animal’s well-being. It covers prakriti analysis and guides lifestyle and diet management to prevent illness. It also introduces key, easily available herbs and their practical uses.

For veterinarians, this course equips them to incorporate Ayurvedic principles into their clinical practice.  It covers tridosha theory, prakriti analysis, disease pathogenesis, and Ayurvedic pharmacotherapeutics, while also enabling practitioners to identify and differentiate authentic Ayurvedic products from non-Ayurvedic formulations.

Held at The Suryaa, New Delhi yesterday, the event witnessed enthusiastic participation from veterinarians, Ayurvedic practitioners, industry leaders, and pet parents from across India. The program aims to address the long-standing absence of credible, structured education and standardized Ayurvedic veterinary products – empowering both medical professionals and pet owners worldwide.

Bridging a Critical Gap in Veterinary Medicine

While Ayurveda is well established in human healthcare, the veterinary space has lacked formal training and trusted guidance. To solve this, Fur Ball Story and CKK Eduveda curated a comprehensive, science-backed curriculum developed by leading experts such as Dr. C K Katiyar, Dr. B. Ravishankar, Prof. Shri Krishna Khandel, Dr. Shalini Kothiyal, Dr. Diksha Moun, Dr. Manveen Kaur, and Fur Ball Story Co-Founder Animesh Katiyar, aim to empower veterinarians, Ayurvedic practitioners, and pet owners with credible guidance, standardized products, and practical tools.

Key highlights from the event included:

  • Expert endorsements from leaders such as Dr. Pradeep Multani (President, AMAM), Dr. Kaustubha Upadhyay (Advisor, Ministry of AYUSH), and Dr. Pradeep Prajapati (Director, All India Institute of Ayurveda).
  • Industry recognition, with Lifetime Achievement Awards presented to Dr. Mohan Ji Saxena,Mr. R.K. Agarwal and Dr. Sudhir Verma.
  • Strategic vision, aligning with AYUSH’s target to grow the global market from USD 43 billion to USD 200 billion in the next decade, with veterinary care as a growth driver.

Dr. Katiyar emphasized that the courses are designed for global reach—supporting veterinarians, Ayurvedic practitioners, and pet parents by complementing modern veterinary science with Ayurveda’s time-tested wisdom.

Animesh Katiyar added, “This initiative complements modern veterinary science with time-tested Ayurvedic wisdom. It’s not about replacing—it’s about expanding possibilities in animal care through integrative, compassionate, and scientifically grounded solutions.”

The courses will officially be open for enrollment worldwide on Dhanvantari Jayanti (18th October 2025), promising a new era of integrated, science-backed Ayurvedic pet healthcare.
