The meeting was attended by Deputy Chairman of the Security Council Dmitry Medvedev, Defence Minister Andrei Belousov, Director of the Federal Security Service Alexander Bortnikov, Chief of the General Staff of Russia’s Armed Forces – First Deputy Minister of Defence Valery Gerasimov, and Presidential Aide Alexei Dyumin.
