21ST ALL INDIAN RAILWAY JAMBORETTE CONCLUDES SUCCESSFULLY

The 21st All Indian Railway Jamborette was organised from 17 to 21 January 2026 at the WSA Ground, Liluah, by Eastern Railway Bharat Scouts and Guides. Held once every two years, the prestigious event brought together Scouts, Guides, Rovers, Rangers, and Unit Leaders from Railway State Associations across the country, celebrating unity, discipline, creativity, and service—the core values of the Scouting-Guiding movement.
The five-day mega event, themed “Track to Tomorrow – Cultivating Character, Empowering India”, witnessed the enthusiastic participation of 2,521 members from 15 Zonal Railways, transforming the campsite into a vibrant miniature global village. Participants showcased their skills, talents, and spirit of brotherhood and sisterhood through a wide range of intellectual, cultural, creative, and physical activities.
The Jamborette featured diverse competitions and programmes aligned with the five-fold development of the Scout-Guide movement, including pageant shows, band displays, march pasts, folk and creative dances, pioneering projects, exhibitions, quizzes, campfires, fashion shows, fireless cooking, physical displays, and various skill-based and cultural activities. Educational hikes and flash mobs to the Dakshineswar Temple and Belur Math further enriched the experience of the participants.
The valedictory day was marked by special programmes such as a Veterans’ Meet and a Trainers’ Meet, where senior Scouts, Guides, and trainers from across zones shared their experiences, insights, and suggestions for strengthening and expanding the movement. A special felicitation ceremony was also held to honour Outstanding Achievers, including former Rashtrapati Award recipients who have excelled in their professional fields, highlighting the lifelong impact of Scouting-Guiding values.
Ms. Aruna Nayar, Director General/HR, Shri Milind Deouskar, General Manager, Eastern Railway & Patron, Eastern Railway’s Bharat Scouts & Guides, Smt. Seema Deouskar, President/ERWWO, Shri Sheelendra Pratap Singh, Additional General Manager, Eastern Railway, Smt. Zarina Firdausi, State Chief Commissioner & Principal Chief Personnel Officer, Shri. Rajeev Saxena, DRM/Sealdah, Shri Vishal Kapoor, DRM/Howrah, Shri Yatish Kumar, Chief Workshop Manager/Liluah, Dr. Anupam Sett, Additional Chief Medical Director & State Secretary/ER Bharat Scouts & Guides, Smt. J. P. Kusumakar, Chief Personnel Officer/ADMIN & state commissioner (Guide), and other Principal Heads of Departments also graced the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, Ms. Aruna Nayar, DG/HR and Secretary, Railway Board, delivered an insightful and inspiring address on the occasion, motivating the members of Bharat Scouts & Guides. She highly appreciated the talent, dedication, and commitment displayed by the members and encouraged them to continue contributing positively to society through discipline, service, and leadership.
Speaking on the occasion, Shri Milind Deouskar, General Manager, Eastern Railway, emphasized that the Bharat Scouts & Guides play a crucial role in shaping the moral character of young individuals while fostering competence, self-reliance, and dependability. He highlighted that the movement not only builds leadership skills but also encourages volunteers of the Eastern Railway Bharat Scouts & Guides to actively participate in social service initiatives and support those in need. He further acknowledged their significant contributions during natural calamities and their continuous involvement in railway operations, ensuring enhanced services for passengers.
A souvenir on the 21st All Indian Railway Jamborette was released by Ms. Aruna Nayar, DG/HR and Secretary, Railway Board, in the presence of the higher officials of Eastern Railway.
During the concluding ceremony, creators associated with the theme song, logo, and mascot of the Jamborette were felicitated. The results of the Standard Judging Competitions were announced, in which Eastern Railway secured the 1st position, followed by South Eastern Railway in 2nd place and Southern Railway in 3rd place at the 21st All India Railway Jamborette. A total of 15 Zonal Railways participated in the event.
