Magadh Sugar & Energy Announces FY26 Results, Declares 125% Dividend

Kolkata, May 13, 2026: Magadh Sugar & Energy Limited has announced its FY26 financial results along with a 125% dividend recommendation for shareholders. The Board approved the unaudited results for the quarter and year ended March 31, 2026.

For FY26, the company recorded total income of Rs. 1,249 crore compared to Rs. 1,325 crore in FY25. EBITDA stood at Rs. 151 crore, while PAT was reported at Rs. 64 crore.

During Q4 FY26, Magadh Sugar reported total income of Rs. 293 crore, EBITDA of Rs. 81 crore, and PAT of Rs. 49 crore.

Chairperson C.S. Nopany stated that Bihar’s renewed focus on reviving the sugar sector through agro-industrial development and technology adoption could help strengthen the industry’s long-term prospects. He also noted that lower sugar prices, rising sugarcane costs, and unseasonal rains affected cane availability and industry margins during the year.

The company highlighted that enhanced crushing capacity and steam-saving measures at its Narkatiaganj unit are now fully operational. It is also setting up a sugar refinery to improve product value and competitiveness.

Magadh Sugar operates three sugar mills in Bihar with a combined crushing capacity of 21,500 TCD and ethanol production capacity of 155 KLPD.
