Government to Establish Fast-Track Courts for Paper Leak Cases, Announces Prime Minister Modi

New Delhi, July 23, 2026: In a significant move aimed at protecting the interests of students and strengthening the integrity of competitive examinations, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has announced that the Government of India will establish fast-track courts to ensure the speedy trial and strict punishment of those involved in examination paper leak cases.
The announcement comes amid growing concerns over repeated instances of question paper leaks that have disrupted recruitment examinations and academic entrance tests across the country, affecting millions of aspirants.
Emphasising that the welfare and future of India’s youth remain the government’s highest priority, Prime Minister Modi said that the decision reflects the Centre’s commitment to ensuring fairness and transparency in the examination system.
Swift Justice Against Examination Fraud
The Prime Minister stated that directions have already been issued to the concerned ministries and officials to initiate the necessary steps for setting up dedicated fast-track courts. These courts are expected to expedite the disposal of cases related to paper leaks, enabling swift legal action and stringent punishment for those found guilty.
According to the Prime Minister, the initiative forms part of a broader series of reforms introduced by the government to safeguard students’ interests and restore confidence in the country’s examination process.

In a message shared on social media platform X, Prime Minister Modi reiterated the government’s unwavering stand against examination-related fraud.
He stated that nothing is more important than the welfare and future of the nation’s youth and warned that individuals attempting to jeopardise students’ futures through paper leak rackets would face strict legal consequences.
The Prime Minister stressed that the government would not tolerate any attempt to undermine the aspirations of young people preparing for competitive examinations.
