La Derma Opens Its First South Kolkata Clinic at Kalighat
Kolkata, September 17, 2026: South Kolkata has a new destination for dermatology, hair care and aesthetic treatments with the opening of La Derma Skin & Hair Clinic on Sardar Shankar Road in Kalighat.
The new facility marks La Derma’s first clinic in South Kolkata, bringing dermatological care, hair restoration, laser-based treatments, skin rejuvenation and aesthetic procedures together under one roof.
The clinic’s inauguration attracted prominent personalities, including Indian footballer Subhasish Bose and actresses Payel Mukherjee and Sayantani Guhathakurta, who attended the launch and extended their best wishes to the new venture.
Dr Khushbu Tantia Expands La Derma’s Presence
The clinic has been founded by Dr Khushbu Tantia, Founder and Consultant Dermatologist of La Derma, who brings more than 12 years of clinical experience to the new facility.
Dr Tantia already operates La Derma clinics in Salt Lake, Kolkata, and Gachibowli, Hyderabad. With the Kalighat centre, the brand is expanding its presence to South Kolkata with a focus on personalised dermatological and aesthetic care.
According to Dr Tantia, the new clinic has been developed around the needs of patients in South Kolkata, combining professional advice with contemporary treatment technologies.

Footballer Subhasish Bose also spoke about the importance of maintaining healthy skin and hair, particularly for people who spend considerable time outdoors.

Bose welcomed the availability of professional skin and hair services supported by modern technology and specialist guidance.
Actresses Payel Mukherjee and Sayantani Guhathakurta were also present at the inauguration and interacted with the La Derma team and guests during the event.
