METRO TO RUN ADDITIONAL SERVICES ON PRE-PUJA WEEKENDS (03.10.2026, 04.10.2026, 10.10.2026, 11.10.2026)
Kolkata, 29.09.2026:
Metro Railway will operate additional services on Blue, Green and Yellow Lines on Saturdays and Sundays before Puja, i.e., 03.10.2026, 04.10.2026, 10.10.2026 and 11.10.2026 for the benefit of the commuters.
ON SATURDAYS (03.10.2026 and 10.10.2026)
BLUE LINE
Metro Railway will run 272 services (136 UP + 136 DN) instead of 252 services.
There will be no change in the timings of the first and last Metro services.
GREEN LINE
Metro Railway will run 236 services (118UP + 118 DN) instead of 212 services.
There will be no change in the timings of the first and last Metro services.
YELLOW LINE
Metro Railway will run 120 services (60 UP + 60 DN) instead of 92 services.
There will be no change in the timings of the first and last Metro services.
Normal Metro services will be available on the Purple Line.
No Metro services on the Orange Line as usual.
ON SUNDAYS (04.10.2026 and 11.10.2026)
BLUE LINE
Metro Railway will run 188 services (94 UP + 94 DN) instead of 152 services.
There will be no change in the timings of the first and last Metro services.
GREEN LINE
Metro Railway will run 125 services (62 UP + 63 DN) instead of 111 services.
There will be no change in the timings of the first and last Metro services.
YELLOW LINE
Metro Railway will run normal 78 services (39 UP + 39 DN). 2 direct train services will be available between Jai Hind Bimanbandar and Dakshineswar instead of 3 direct services.
There will be no change in the timings of the first and last Metro services.
No Metro services will be available on the Purple Line and Orange Line as usual.
