GENERAL MANAGER / EASTERN RAILWAY INSPECTED OVER LALGOLA – KRISHNANAGAR SECTION

Shri Amar Prakash Dwivedi, General Manager/Eastern Railway inspected various stations over Lalgola – Krishnanagar section in Sealdah Division on Saturday (29.07.2023). Principal Officers of Eastern Railway and Divisional Railway Manager/ Sealdah along with Branch Officers of Sealdah Division accompanied the General Manager during inspection.
In the morning, Shri Amar Prakash Dwivedi, General Manager/ Eastern Railway inspected Panel Room, ATVM machine & other passenger amenities, station circulating area at Lalgola station. The General Manager also interacted with the station manager & discussed safety-related work at Lalgola station. The General Manager also conducted a window trailing inspection between Lalgola & Murshidabad and thoroughly inspected the track and its surrounding installations like signal, overhead equipment, and other safety gear.
Afterward, the General Manager inspected Krishnapur station where he visited the circulating area, running room, health unit, and RPF barrack. At Krishnapur station, the General Manager planted saplings of trees & also inaugurated the Running Room Management System.
At Murshidabad station, General Manager, of Eastern Railway, Shri Amar Prakash Dwivedi thoroughly inspected the circulating area, relay room, passengers amenities, development of Goods Shed & station development work in progress. The General Manager also met with the press & media and with representatives of the passengers association to reveal various development initiatives for Railways.
In the afternoon, the General Manager/of Eastern Railway visited Cossimbazar station where he thoroughly inspected different amenities & facilities including lifts, station circulating area, and Goods Shed.
At Berhampore Court station, Shri Dwivedi, General Manager inspected different passenger amenities and facilities like seating arrangement, station circulating area, One Station One Product (OSOP) stall, and food stall. While visiting the food stall, the General Manager advised strictly to issue bills in all cases and to follow the ‘No Bill No Pay’ principle. He also inspected the progress of development work under the Amrit Bharat station scheme at Berhampore Court station.
Later, after inspecting Bethuadahari station, Shri Amar Prakash Dwivedi, General Manager/ Eastern Railway also visited Krishnanagar Jn station where he inspected different facilities & amenities and the progress of station development work under the Amrit Bharat Station scheme.
