Krishna Charita presents Doshobhuja
Kolkata, Sep 23:The journey of a thousand miles begins with one step. And possibly amidst the ecstasy of creativity and innovative spirits, ‘ Sharad Srijoni Shomman’ is stepping into its 11th year of recognition, without even realizing its pass of time.
India Green Reality, represented by Mr Samanta took the initiative to introduce ‘Sharad Srijoni Shomman’ ten years back to recognize the creative aspects of the artwork and contents, wherein despite its non-glamourous presence, it has been an awaited recognition for many respected artists.
We thank all the Clubs and their associates for participating and sending their nominations to us every year wherein we are presented with beautiful and ingenious artwork created by divine artists on the grand stage of one of the most revered and UNESCO-recognized festival in the world.
Today again in the midst of the festive energy of invincibility and joy, ‘Krishna Charita’ – a parallel business unit of ours represented by Mr Samanta would like to walk another mile to introduce the ‘Doshobhuja Shomman’ to recognize and acknowledge ‘Ten Women of Substance’, to be nominated by you and through your eyes and from within your home or neighborhood. She may not have the voice but she has the virtue to be the voice for the known.
Each time she stands up for herself, without knowing it possibly, without claiming it, she stands up for all women. She is the full circle- within her is the power to create, nurture, and transform. She may be your mother or your grandmother; she may be your next-door image while again she may be someone you have heard at a distance.
She is one who lets you live or is possibly the hands or the hearts to keep many alive. Yes, we want to recognize Ten such powerful women who has never strived for recognition but our efforts to recognize them is an attempt to pay our tribute to the ‘Shakti’ who have been backing our lives and breathing from behind, to build a better world every day.
