B.R. Singh Hospital of Eastern Railway continues their extraordinary endeavour to save precious lives.
We are delighted to announce that, a few days ago B.R.Singh Hospital have successfully performed a total laparoscopic D2 right hemicolectomy for the first time ever in OT in a 70 yrs old lady with ascending colonic adenocarcinoma, with T2DM. Patient is doing fine and has been discharged on the 7th post-operative day.
A dedicated team of doctors under the leadership of Dr S.K.Kanjilal, HOD/Surgery had performed the critical operation. Credit also goes to the entire OT team and anesthesia department for assisting the entire 7 hrs of surgery. Dr. Subhasish Das, Medical Director, Eastern Railway congratulated the entire team on their stand-out achievement.
