hoichoi brings an all-new horror thriller, Nishir Daak, directed by Joydeep Mukherjee , a chilling tale where music becomes a medium of the unknown.
Set in the quiet village of Sonamukhi, six PhD students arrive to research a forgotten classical singer, Nishigandha Bhaduri once praised by Tagore himself. But their pursuit of art turns into an encounter with something far darker, as whispers of a curse begin to echo through the night. What they seek as history soon reveals itself as horror where every melody beckons the past, and every silence hides a secret.
A stellar ensemble comes together for the series, featuring Sreeja Dutta, Surangana Bandyopadhyay, Rajdeep Gupta, Somak Ghosh, Rik Chatterjee, Sweta Mishra, Arunava Dey, Raunak Bhowmick, Mukul Kumar Jana, Satyam Bhattacharya, Mainak Banerjee, Anubhav Kanjilal, Arnab Banerjee, and Chhandak Choudhury . Nishir Daak brings together folklore, fear, and the haunting pull of music into a gripping supernatural experience.
