PASSING OUT PARADE OF AGNIVEERVAYU TRAINEES – 02/2025 AT AIRMEN TRAINING SCHOOL BELAGAVI

The Passing-Out-Parade (POP) of the sixth batch of Agniveervayu Trainees (AGVT) intake 02/2025 was held at the Airmen Training School (ATS), Belagavi, on 06 December 2025. A total of 1264 Agniveervayus (Men and Women) successfully completed their 22 weeks of rigorous and transformative ab-initio training.
Air Vice Marshal Venkat T Mare, Assistant Chief of the Air Staff (Training), Indian Air Force, presided over the event as Reviewing Officer of the parade. He appreciated the precision, discipline, and dedication displayed by the trainees in the parade.
The RO congratulated the trainees and felicitated the award winners with trophies for their outstanding performance in different categories. AGVT Ashish Gurjar and AGVT Neeraj were adjudged as ‘Best in Academics’, AGVT Rihanshu Nathawat as ‘Best in General Service Training’, AGVT Kumavat Vivek Govardhan as ‘Best Marksman and AGVT Priyanshu Singh was adjudged as ‘Best all-rounder’. The RO exhorted all the Agniveervayu trainees to remain vigilant, adaptable, and committed to their duties, recognising the ever-evolving nature of global security challenges. He urged all the trainees to be ready to take on all tasks assigned to them with dedication, devotion, and to keep their minds open to acquire new professional skills. Emphasizing the importance of adaptability, he encouraged the young warriors to continuously learn, embrace new challenges, and remain mission-ready in an ever-evolving global security environment.
The event was also a significant occasion for the families of the Agniveervayus, who were present to witness the impressive passing out parade function. The RO expressed heartfelt appreciation to the parents for their unwavering support and acknowledged their vital role in shaping the next generation of air warriors. He concluded by commending the Air Officer Commanding and all personnel of ATS for their persistent efforts in nurturing and transforming youth into proficient and resilient Agniveervayus, ready to serve the nation with honour, courage, and commitment.
