After a long pause under criminal pressure, Puja and prayers were not allowed at the Asansol Bastin Bazar Durga Temple. It was a painful situation for all the nationalist people; the TMC government and administration were spineless in acting on the same.
Newly elected Asansol North BJP MLA Shri Krishnendu Mukherjee, along with the BJP District President, offered prayers at the Asansol Bastin Bazar Durga Temple.
Notably, regular worship at the Asansol Bastin Bazar Durga Temple had remained suspended for nearly 13 years due to the politics of appeasement under the TMC regime.
Following the BJP’s victory, the temple has reopened, and prayers were offered there today once again.
People of Bengal can now demand that any such anti-faith act can be overruled, and continue the way it should be for Temple worship in any places in India.
