Century Plyboard’s Revenue Increases by 8.1% in the First Quarter of Financial Year 2017-18

India’s leading plywood company, Century Plyboards (I) Ltd., today announced its results for the first quarter of FY 17-18.
Highlights:
- Net Revenue from operations for the First Quarter, ending 30th June, 2017-18 fiscal, was Rs 438.60 crore; an increase of 1% over corresponding period of last financial year (405.75 crore)
- Profit after Taxfor the quarter ending 30th June, 2017-18, was 34.12 crores; showing a decrease of 20.7% over corresponding period of last financial year (Rs. 43.05 crores)
Commenting on the company’s performance, Mr. Sajjan Bhajanka, Chairman, Century Plyboards(I) Ltd said “We have had a satisfactory result at the time of migration of India’s biggest tax reform, GST. ”
