C Pattabhi takes over as Airport Director, NSCBI Airport, Kolkata

Shri C Pattabhi has taken over as the new Airport Director of the Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International (NSCBI) Airport, Kolkata on Monday. He succeeded Shri Kaushik Bhattacharjee who superannuated in April 2021.
Before joining Kolkata, Shri Pattabhi headed the Begumpet Airport, Hyderabad.An Engineering Graduate, Shri Pattabhi has got 30 years of experience in various fields of Aviation sector including eight years of rich skill of serving as the Airport Director of various airports in India. He has also served in numerous capacities in more than 10 airports in different regions of the country. This apart, Shri Pattabhi has also worked in the Radio Construction & Development Unit (RCDU) at the Corporate Headquarters of Airports Authority of India.
Shri Pattabhi has successfully completed International Airport Professional (IAP) programme, a designation whose holders are recognised by Airport Council International (ACI) and International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) as having achieved highly rigorous standards for expertise in the field of airport management.
In the new capacity, Shri Pattabhi is tasked with the responsibility of management, upgradation and development of the NSCBI Airport, Kolkata. He is also entrusted with the provision of passenger facilities at this Airport and the management of other allied Infrastructure and Services including capacity enhancement of Airside.
