PM congratulates Sanjita Chanu on winning the Gold Medal in the Women’s 53 kg weightlifting event.

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has congratulated Weightlifter K Sanjita Chanu on winning the Gold Medal at Commonwealth Games.

PM said, “The second Gold for India! Congratulations to K Sanjita Chanu on winning the Gold Medal in the Women’s 53 kg weightlifting event. The nation is overjoyed by this exemplary performance.”

Weightlifter Khumukcham Sanjita Chanu delivered India its second gold medal of the 2018 Commonwealth Games in Gold Coast City, Australia today.
