UNICEF Office for West Bengal released the report on The State of the World’s Children 2017.
“Children in a Digital World” the event was be attended by Dr. Shashi Panja, Minister of State, Child Development & Women Development & Social Welfare & MoS, Health & Family Welfare & Ms- Ananya Chatterjee Chakraborti, Chairperson, West Bengal State Commission for Protection Of Child Right, Mohammad Mohiuddin- Chief Of Field Office UNICEF- West Bengal & Ms- Moumita Dastidar- Communication Specialist UNICEF- West Bengal.
Dr. Shashi Panja expressed positive attitude of the Government of West Bengal towards digital literacy but at the same time they feel that correct information is important for the people to receive specially the kids.
She also told that Digital Danger is also paramount when blue whale like games destroying the mental state of the kids.
All present expressed the positive approach to life and digital technology.
