“The Lahore High Court (LHC) on Wednesday directed the federal and Punjab governments not to arrest or put Jamaatud Dawa chief Hafiz Saeed under house arrest until further orders,” Dawn News TV reported.
It was in air that Saeed could be arrested under international pressure to avoid the same Mr. Saeed put an appeal to honorable Lahore High Court in Pakistan against his possible arrest, arguing that the government, under pressure from the United States and India, wanted to arrest him.
Honorable Justice Ameenuddin Khan after hearing the case today ordered both governments to file replies in the case by April 4 to clear the views.
