Indians living overseas has been advised by honorable External Affairs Minister Ms. Sushma Swaraj that do not entertain any call pretending to be from Indian High Commission and asking about your details of Passport or any other details over phone.
No such instruction has been issued by Indian Government. It is a clear case of impersonation and “FAKE CALL”.
She also adviced to report immediately to Indian Mission overseas so that Indian High Commission can seek help from local law enforcement agencies.
As a matter of fact this could be an attempt by terror group to fake tour passport and impersonate the real person.
Ms. Sushma Swaraj replied in a tweet with the above advice for all.
