Missing Link –a soft rock bong band from Chandannagore came into reckoning when they were runners up in Plug n Play – a talent hunt competition in 2003 and got into prominence with a win in Band-E-Mataram II in 2006. By then they brought out an eponymous album on T-Series (2004), two years post that scalp cut Kaktarua (Asha Audio, 2008) and in 2012 dropped Ecche Pelam via kaleidoscope with whom they have stuck so far. In 2013 they were nominated for Mirchi Music Awards in Best Band category.
Now after missing in action for seven years, they have appeared with a music video their third after Kaktarua and Kritodasi Maa (2009). The video which they had been mulling about the for almost two years is against Aaro Kichukkhon, a single from their last release. The video tells the story of a lead-singer of band who falls for a woman close to other members of the band as well and how they all gelled together through thick and thin. But sudden demise of the woman led to the lover to enshrine her memory and that’s what the video is all about.
The song is available on youtube and can be fetched via QSR.
All’s good let’s hope it won’t be another seven years before we hear from them.
