Mana is the last Indian village and is only three kilometers from Badrinath. Located at an altitude of 3,200 meters. This village is a quaint tiny hamlet situated on the Indo-Tibetan border. If you visit Badrinath you must visit village Mana. You can see the starting point of river Saraswati, Ganesh Gufa and Vyas Gufa. If you have one extra day you may also trek to Vasudhara Falls. Trek to Vasudhara Falls starts from village Mana. The trek is 7 kilometer one side and you can do it same day from Badrinath. Inhabitants of Mana village are the last generation of Bhotia community of Mongolian tribes It is believed that Pandavas had passed through Mana when they on thier journey to heaven.
