Assam House Kolkata under the leadership of Mr. Debasish Chakraborty the Head of the office made an wonderful cultural show of Assam on Bengali New Year Day at Kolkata Assam House. Rongali Bihu was the occasion to celebrate along with ASL Club Kolkata.
In presence of many great personalities of Assam the morning was electrifying at all level right from the Kids to Ace dancer Grand old legend Ms. Debjani Chaliha.
Assam the cultural melting pot of India which has given many legend of music and culture globally acclaimed and recognized. Ms. Debjani Chaliha is one such name who needs no introduction in the world of Dance and music.
Another fame Jaya Seal who is an Indian actress and has acted in several Indian languages. She has appeared in over 15 films. Seal was born in Guwahati, India. She is a graduate of the National School of Drama. She is acclaimed in Assam for Bihu dance.
All enjoyed the competition of Bihu Dance by Kids and young ladies was really a show case of cultural strength of India and specially Assam.
