Kishore Kumar lives on as a legend and continues to mesmerize the contemporary audience. To pay tribute to the greatest of great artists, Amit Kumar, his elder son and Babul Supriyo are coming together for a grand concert on Sunday November 26 at Science City Auditorium. Presented by Centrestage, the concert will have renowned playback singer Amit Kumar and Babul Supriyo showcase Kishore Kumar’s timeless numbers with Amit Kumar sharing anecdotes about his illustrious father. The concert will also feature Jolly Mukherjee a playback singer who has spent valuable personal time with the legend.
Saptak & Sourav shall also pay tribute by singing the master’s songs. Akriti Kakkar, an accomplished name in the Bollywood playback genre and Anwesha Dutta, a former Zee Saregamapa champion, shall sing duets. Kishore Sodha, who accompanied Kishore Kumar in his live shows 1980 onwards shall play the trumpet, which his brother the illustrious Raj Sodha shall play the Saxophone. Nitin Shankar & Sunil Kaushik, celebrated musicians the R D Burman team shall be present on stage. Further, a team of accomplished musicians from Kolkata, led by Rocket Mondal & Deb Shankar Roy of the Violin Brothers, shall enthrall the audience.
