SANTINIKETAN BOUTIQUE INVOLVING BACKTRACK WOMEN ARTISANS OPENED IN CITY

Kolkata Priyodarshini is a an NGO established in 2012 for the socio economic development of socially backtrack women of West Bengal as well as woman empowerment Mrs. Swagata Lakshmi Ghosh takes a huge role on this subject after getting the post of secretary of Kolkata Priyodorshini since 2016. She has visited many districts of West Bengal and realized that if we want to increase the annual income of each family then the woman has to be self-dependent so that she planned to give them skill development training so that they can start learning and earning too.

Gradually She formed Santiniketan and set up a complete platform of production, selling and women empowerment. Recently a branch was opened at Mahanirban Road, South Kolkata. Noted singer Riddhi Bandyopadhyay graced the occasion by her august presence. The branch has a production section too besides selling outlet. Artisans from many districts are attached to the initiative. Swagata Lakshmi Ghosh said,Proprietor, Santiniketan Boutique  ” It’s like a dream come true moment to me. Now we can cater the best service to our customers from the heart of our city .” Riddhi Bandyopadhyay stated, ” It’s just not has a business angle rather they are serving to our society as so many backtrack women are getting earning out of this initiative.”
