DARK NIGHT OF JUNE 15 2020 DEADLY CLASH AT EAST LADAKH’S GALWAN VALLEY.
At a height of nearly 4,300m (14,000 ft) in steep terrain, lack of oxygen, sub – zero temperature ,fast flowing Galwan river, rocky and icy terrain, narrow way and deep gorge .
For the last five weeks in the Galwan Valley region of East Ladakh, large number of troops from India and China were engaged in an eyeball-to-eyeball situation.
Ugly Chinese troops hit barehanded Indian Army soldiers in a fatal clash with nailed iron rods, clubbed with barbed wires, some of them fell down in almost frozen Galwan river, profusely bleeding and slowly drowning to death under the chilled river water.
How cruel ,bleak & painful death that might have been!
20 brave Indian soldiers lost their lives who fought for us, and our motherland valiantly till their last breath.
Notably, this is the first combat fatalities in 45 years along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) between two nuclear powers.
China does not honour LAC,what we are waiting for. They have broken the ceasefire and killed our soldiers, which is not desirable.
Now it is the time for a befitting retaliation.
Permanent solution is now required and India should take initiative in this regard.
We can’t afford a single casuality on either Radcliffe Line or McMahon Line or any other Border ,neither Land nor Oceans .
Now their sacrifice should not go in vain and we should not backtrack. Let china not get away with it.
Do remember they have daughters and sons who lost their fathers, parents, who lost their children, wives who lost their husbands. They are not just numbers, they are like you and me.
It’s a barbarism and cowardly attack by Chinese soldiers on our unarmed warriors.
As an Indian, my blood boiled from that day and my heart is crying seeing one by one coffin coming out from Ladhak. We should never forgive China for what they did with our soldiers.
If 135 crore Indians start thinking seriously with a strong determination to retaliate about this bloodshed in Galwan Valley, then the spineless Chinese will think twice before repeating such incidents in future.
So,wake up Indians!
Have trust in your Armed Forces, Your trust boosts the morale of our soldiers in the frontline.
Think protecting our sovereignty is not the duty of our Armed forces only and every Indian should raise their voice against this brutality.
My heartfelt tribute to those bravehearts whose supreme sacrifice ,passion and devotion for protecting the Indian borders dragged them to death.
I am working for a Western Media as their India Correspondent, but above all I am a proud Indian. This is my personal opinion as a fellow Indian, what u will think, that’s completely your choice.
